From July 2025 to January 2026, Afrilime Mineral Processing Solution was contracted by BUGO Mining (Bugomola) to undertake the construction of a Carbon-in-Pulp (CIP) Processing Plant and Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) at Nyakagwe, Geita. The scope of work encompassed the complete construction of the CIP processing plant infrastructure, installation and commissioning of mineral processing equipment, and development of a fully compliant Tailings Storage Facility. The project also included comprehensive supervision of all construction activities to ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards. Afrilime executed the project with a strong focus on operational efficiency, environmental responsibility, and quality assurance, delivering infrastructure designed to support sustainable mineral processing operations.
